Event Timing
We can provide professional event timing for your event. There are two levels available. For medium to large size races, we offer chip timing
starting at about $2.00 per runner, depending mostly on race size. This includes providing the chips and mats, managing the finish area, and
providing results to you quickly so you don't have runners standing around waiting for scoring. We will also post the results on our website
and provide them to you electronically to post on your website. (For races smaller than 1,000 runners there is a flat fee plus fixed costs per
runner. For 1,000 runner or larger races, the fee is $2 per runner).
A less expensive option for small races (<300 runners) is card timing using the "Henry Campbell" system. Runners fill out a card. You
provide volunteers who we train to sort the cards. Results in about 45 minutes after the cards are handed in. All of this for less than the cost
of setting up and using the chip system.

means that you obtain sponsors, have T-shirts printed, and create a flier, but we will get your event listed on race calendars, manage race day
planning, set up the finish line, provide chip scoring, and provide you with results. Our level of participation is fully negotiable, from doing it
all to you doing most of it, but us helping you organize the event. There are so many things to coordinate. A first time race director doesn't
stand a chance of getting it all right. Let us help! Services can include:
- Course selection and certification
- Assistance with T-shirt and award planning
- Race administration and management of registration, typically utilizing Active.com as well as paper registrations with checks payable to you
- Provide labeled race packets for distribution
- Provide timing chips for all of your runners
- Course marking
- Assist you with volunteer assignments and race day organization
- Race day set up of finish line and timing mats
- Management of timing and results
- Coordinate event photographer
- Coordinate sponsor recognition
- Assist with awards presentation
- Provide results to media and your participants
- Provide equipment for the race, including tables, coolers, cones and directional arrows for course marking, sound system, and more

Want to do it yourself, but maybe need a little help with what is required to pull off a great race? We are more than willing to provide
mentoring for a fee. We can provide you check lists, explain all of the things you need to do, and then provide whatever level of services are
helpful to you. The fee is fully dependent on our level of participation, but we will train you in the process and help you pull off a race like a
pro, not like a first time race director!
